Purpose

This role will support the Strategy team on various strategic initiatives that support our Net-Zero goal. The area of responsibilities of the role may involve assisting with market research, business process and capability assessments, value analysis, summarizing and communicating findings, etc. You will gain experience in devising strategic options, evolving the long-term strategy, and developing plans to successfully execute on the strategy

Accountabilities

  • Conduct market and competitor research across the US and Canada
  • Develop an understanding of the current and future state organizational capabilities and business processes
  • Develop an understanding of various existing and upcoming technologies supporting the energy transition
  • Synthesize trends, themes, and insights from research and analysis clearly and concisely to communicate findings
  • Assist in preparation of internal presentations and reports
  • Stay on top of industry news, policies, and trends
Education and Experience
  • Must be working toward the completion of bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Qualitative and/or quantitative research, data collection and analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic understanding of financial metrics that drive financial success
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of project management tools and best practices is an asset
