The Strategic Insights Analyst plays a critical role in translating complex data into strategic insights
that drive business decisions and enhance patient support services. This role requires a deep
understanding of the Specialty Pharmaceutical industry, data analytics, financial modeling, and business
intelligence. Working cross-functionally with Business Intelligence, Program Teams, and Business Units
the Analyst will develop data-driven solutions, identify market trends, assess financial impact, and
enhance business processes.
By leveraging real-world data (RWD), real-world evidence (RWE), performance KPIs, and financial
forecasting, this role supports business case development, innovation, and operational efficiencies to
deliver value for both internal and external stakeholders.
How you will make an impact
• Analyze market trends, patterns, and financial data to inform strategic decision-making.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI (or equivalent) to
communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturer partners.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence to establish robust data collection and analysis
procedures, ensuring high-quality and accurate reporting.
• Conduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting to evaluate the feasibility and
profitability of new and existing initiatives.
• Assess industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities
for innovation and efficiencies.
• Provide proactive insights on performance KPIs and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Support the collection and analysis of RWD/RWE to evaluate health outcomes and economic
impacts.
• Align RWD/RWE strategies with broader business objectives to support decision-making and
regulatory requirements.
• Identify and recommend business process improvements through data-driven insights.
• Work closely with Program Teams, Pharmacy, and Coverdale, to develop insights that enhance
service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement enhancements, program
efficiencies, and patient experience improvements through data insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating information and proactively resolving
discrepancies.
• Support internal and external reporting needs by ensuring compliance with data governance
and industry best practices.
• Lead or support special projects related to business analytics, financial impact assessment, and
strategic planning.
• Continuously explore and recommend new tools, methodologies, and technologies to enhance
analytics capabilities; and
• Responsible to report any patient safety information as per adverse event reporting
requirements and product quality complaints reporting requirements.
What you'll bring to our team
• 5+ years combined education or experience in a Business Insights, Data Analytics, and/or
Financial Analysis
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, patient support programs, or healthcare analytics is required.
• Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis using tools such as
Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization platforms.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ability to build dynamic, user-friendly dashboards.
• Knowledge of real-world data (RWD) and real-world evidence (RWE) applications in healthcare.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex business
problems.
• Ability to elicit business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories for data
teams.
• Experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them
into actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present data and
recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced
environment.
