Job Description


:
Reporting to the Manager, Facility Operations, the Strategic Facilities role is responsible for strategic roadmaps that support innovative housing solutions to meet the evolving requirements of our Canadian business operations and includes stack planning, client engagement, data analytics, and project execution.


As part of a highly collaborative team, this role functions in a fast-paced environment and contributes to the execution of critical and high impact BAU activities and large projects to successfully implement the corporate facilities program.


Working with management from all divisions and stakeholders in IS, Finance, Human Resources, Property Management and facilities industry professionals, this role gathers and analyzes data relative to occupancy forecasts to understand the impact of long-term corporate goals, initiatives, and external business drivers on the real estate portfolio to set current and ongoing space usage plans.


This position will be located in London. Limited travel may be required.



What you will do

  • Create, maintain, and develop building stack plans for corporate offices that may house 3,000+ people at any given site.
  • Understand occupancy data, participate in creating the narrative around the data, and use output to influence stack plans and client communications.
  • Provide planning services to Corporate Properties projects including project scope definition, budget input and oversight, project risk assessment and identification of the critical success factors for project execution.
  • Provide project coordination services for the portfolio of projects. These services include project monitoring, project status reporting, client management, as well as project issue identification, escalation and resolution requirements.
  • Provide account management services ensuring that customer service levels are monitored and met; ensuring that services are sufficiently mobilized to enable the effective delivery of these services to the various user divisions. Provide issue escalation and resolution services as appropriate.
  • Continuously liaise with leaders throughout the organization to understand their short- and long-term objectives and their potential impact on their housing and tenant service needs. Ensure that Corporate Services plans are harmonized and aligned with the Lines of Business plans.
  • Develop presentation and other material for senior management and participate in promoting and increasing the awareness of Corporate Properties services, policies, procedures, and constraints to the various lines of business.

Education:
  • Post-secondary education

Experience:
  • Minimum 5-years experience in a facilities related field and experience in corporate environment.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, as well as tact, diplomacy, and resourcefulness with the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle the pressures of deadlines and strong time management.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft office Suite \xe2\x80\x93 Outlook, Word, and Excel.
