Strategic Sourcing Analyst

This is a full-time and permanent position from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing, the Strategic Sourcing Analyst will work closely with the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams to execute strategic sourcing activities and bring the best value for money to the organization. The successful person will be responsible for administering and improving the Strategic Sourcing activities for the organization. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will analyze and report procurement-related data and calculate the total cost of ownership for various materials and services. They will coordinate with the suppliers on the regular basis to obtain the quotes and required information and act as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders

What you will be doing:

• Conducting the supplier spending analysis on the regular basis and performing various analyses to get insights, and patterns, converting data into meaningful information.
• Converting the business requirements into the solicitation documents i.e., RFP, RFQ, and RFI. Sharing the solicitation documents with the vendors and assisting the strategic sourcing teams with the evaluation of the received bids/quotations.
• Support the strategic sourcing teams in arranging meetings with the technical departments and vendors for various business requirements.
• Conducting market research for industry trends and sourcing vendors for different materials and services. Maintaining the supplier roster for efficient execution of procurement processes.
• Preparation and dissemination of different category spend analysis and cost-saving reports for direct and indirect category projects.
• Updating and maintaining strategic sourcing project status reports and ensuring the report contains up-to-date information related to projects.
• Follow up with the internal business users for obtaining the required information and updating the procurement documents.
• Coordination with the vendors to conduct regular business reviews.
• Implement sourcing and supplier relationship management best practices.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Science or Business is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or operational procurement.
• Advanced skills in data analysis are desired.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems is desired.
• Healthcare or life science-related experience is an asset.
• French Language proficiency will be an asset.

Additional Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially MS Excel (Advance level).
• Solid understanding of data analysis techniques.
• Proven track record of working on RFX processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Learning, flexible, and adaptable behavior.
• Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple projects, and respond to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively manage constraints and competing priorities.
• Strong business acumen.
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
• Demonstrated success at building strong relationships and collaborating with a network of internal and external Business Partners and subject matter experts.
