This position is field-based in the Greater Toronto Area in the Cardiometabolics & Informatics Division. We're empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott's diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.
Abbott Molecular is a leader in molecular diagnostics and the analysis of DNA, RNA, and proteins at the molecular level.
Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key heath and therapeutic areas, including infections disease, cardiometabolic, informatics and toxicology.

The role will develop a robust national growth strategy compliant with Abbott policy. Responsible for promoting, building selling strategies, manage and commercialize Cardiometabolic portfolio. This includes corporate support in forecasting, long range planning, budget reviews and P&L management.
The role is responsible for achieving Cardiometabolic national sales goals, developing and supporting the company's sales and marketing strategy while develop an strong KOL and key decision makers networking. Qualified candidate will be required to perform daily administrative routine tasks, including Sales Force maintenance, expenses reporting, customer invoicing trackers and business reports.
The role expects an entrepreneur behavior and collaborative skills to navigate with internal partners and develop Cardiometabolic Canadian market through innovative approach for profitable and sustainable business growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The main function of this position is to be the Cardiometabolic commercial leader in Canada working in collaboration with local partners and sales representatives through influential skills to achieve the highest sales revenue assigned to the country while develop new customers for business unit expansion.
As activities related to the position the main pillars are:
STRATEGIC PLANNING
Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company goals
Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats
Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic priorities
PROJECT AND INITIATIVE MANAGEMENT
Lead cross-functional projects that support strategic goals
Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery
Align resources and engage stakeholders to strategic initiatives
Ensure marketing campaigns properly execution and create a high achievement climate that inspires and motivates
Lead forecast management for new channels and campaigns
Lead Campaigns and activities acting as a marketing person, engaging 3rd party providers and supporting internal processes
SALES PERFORMANCE EXECUTION AND MONITORING
Set accounts KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and track progress
Performance data and strategy adjustment
Ensure accountability across departments for business execution
Sales forecast, commercial reporting and related systems and tools
Facilitate operational and demand planning processes, sales performance tracking and sales objective management
Ensure that country expenses are managed to respect country budget
Lead key demand planning process including LBE, commercial review and S&OP, including new channels and campaigns
Lead the development and maintenance of key inputs to the demand planning process, namely inventory, customer assessment, performance tracking and market insights
Responsible for gap closures and mitigation actions initiatives, including fact finding analysis, strategic review with stakeholders, resources allocations and post evaluation
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree required
Five to 8 years of related experience
Previous experience in Pharma or Medical device companies with expertise in sales and commercial management. Preferred on Diabetes and Cardiovascular segment.
