We are hiring a Strata Building Manager in a residential building in Coquitlam area!
Location: Coquitlam
Building Type: Strata Building
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections of the property (interior/exterior).
Minor maintenance: power washing, and building repairs
Schedule, meet, and oversee trades and other contractors in the building, ensuring projects are completed in a proper and timely manner
Conduct administrative and clerical functions such as managing social room bookings; maintaining records, directories and manuals; distributing and controlling entry fobs; and collecting/recording parking and other fees
Report building issues and incidents in writing to Strata Property Manager and Strata Council
Act quickly and diligently to address building issues
Respond to residents\' queries & requests promptly and professionally
Respond to emergencies, assist first responders and execute emergency protocol as needed
Facilitate resident move-ins /move-outs
Post notices and enforce Strata bylaws and rules
Perform monthly security inspections & procedures (generators, fire alarm, others) as required
Work closely with and assist the Strata Property Manager, the on-site cleaning and front desk team, and Strata Council to ensure a smooth building operation
Qualifications:
Previous building manager experience in residential, strata or commercial setting
Previous experience working with contractors and mechanical equipment, an asset
Knowledge of operational requirements of a strata building and keen eye for identifying issues
Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
Proven ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
Self-motivated individual who obtains satisfaction from a job well done
Strong communication skills (both written and spoken)
Demonstrates good judgment in problem-solving and conflict resolution
Excels at customer service
Polished and courteous demeanor
Computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet, e-mail and messaging/text proficiency)
Communicates promptly and professionally, via e-mail, messaging/text and phone
Possesses a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a vehicle that can be used for work
Must be willing to provide references and complete a criminal background check
