Position Overview

The

Store Support Associate

plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service. This position is responsible for assisting with customer carry-outs, performing local flower deliveries, moving and organizing furniture and stock between the warehouse and sales floor, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and capable of performing physical tasks safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with

carry-outs

of purchased items, ensuring safe handling and excellent service. Perform

local flower deliveries

in a timely and courteous manner. Move and arrange

furniture and merchandise

from the warehouse to the showroom floor as directed. Maintain the

organization and cleanliness

of storage and display areas. Assist with

inventory control

, including receiving, tagging, and restocking merchandise. Support sales staff and management with floor resets, product setup, and other operational tasks. Safely operate

dollies, carts, or other moving equipment

as needed. Follow all

safety and handling procedures

to prevent damage or injury. Provide general

store support

as required to maintain efficient operations and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in

retail, warehouse, or delivery

environments preferred. Must have a

valid driver's license

and a clean driving record (for delivery duties). Ability to

lift and move heavy items

safely (up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50-75 lbs]). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.

Work Environment

This position involves both

indoor and outdoor work

in varying weather conditions. Requires frequent standing, lifting, bending, and movement throughout the day.
