Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service. Manage daily operations including inventory management, cash handling, and merchandising. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills in areas such as retail sales and customer engagement. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process to build a strong team. Monitor financial performance by analyzing budgets, sales reports, and pricing strategies. Negotiate with suppliers to buy products at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations. Foster an organized work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred. Strong mathematical skills for budgeting and cash handling responsibilities. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships. Experience in training development to enhance team performance. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and staff positively. Familiarity with retail sales strategies and best practices is advantageous.
