The primary responsibility for this role is to provide onsite as well as on call support to the Franchise Retail stores in an environment where each owner\xe2\x80\x99s organization and technology must adapt to interface with the enterprise\xe2\x80\x99s policies & procedures on supported technology. This role will be involved in collaborating in change management activities on new technology project intended for the franchise store network.

Reporting to the Operations Support Lead, this position is not office based \xe2\x80\x93 You will be travelling within Quebec and on occasion outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

Store Support

  • On site and on call store support activities
  • Plan store visits and provide recommendation supporting best practices in support of FGL systems and related policies and procedures
  • Recommend adapted process improvements for store operations processes interfacing with FGL supported technology
  • Conduct process and procedure reviews to identify suspected gaps or reported operational inefficiency, propose solutions to the store\xe2\x80\x99s operations team and assist in implementing revised process
  • Validate that franchisees technological pool respect FGL recommended norms and security and make appropriate recommendations when applicable
  • Support for physical inventory
  • Ensure PCI processes and related logs are up to date
  • Works cross functionally as required to improve processes & documentation and identify gaps Business operations
  • Works collaboratively with Operations Support Lead in support of resolving technical issues where technical service levels and agreements are not met and escalate when required
  • On site Trade show support (\xc3\xa0 d\xc3\xa9velopper)
  • Cube support \xe2\x80\x93 transition
Store Projects
  • Participate to defining deployment strategies for projects intended for, or impacting stores
  • Participate to pilot store selection for projects intended for or impact stores
  • On site assistance, in evaluating workflows for all new and adapted operations processes
  • Monitoring and reporting of potential issues during pilot stage
  • On site and on call store support when implementing new technology and related software
Required Skills and Experience
  • College Diploma in business or related field
  • Retail Store Experience (3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years)
  • Store Operations and systems training experience (3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years)
  • Bilingual (English and French); conversation, reading and writing
  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Problem solving / decision making \xe2\x80\x93 defines problems clearly and logically, effectively uses appropriate problem solving and decision-making style
  • Attention to detail \xe2\x80\x93 demonstrates accuracy, controls and eliminates errors
  • Initiative- self-starting, takes action without being prompted
  • Proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Store travel required
