is currently looking for a full-time

Store Merchandiser/Cashier.

This position is an

entry-level position

, in which the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a clean display, stockroom and scanning of products for our Shell Gas Station and Convenience Store.

Your Store Merchandiser Responsibilities are:

Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, and displays, by transporting products between the backroom/storage room to the front-of-store with manual or powered equipment Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards Maintain product signage, clean product space, and secure damaged or defective products Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance Manage backroom by organizing stock, evaluating and processing damaged products, re-packing products, and organizing backroom materials Follow all store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with company safety and sanitation requirements Ensuring accurate product scanning

Qualifications:

3 to 6 months of experience working as a retail shipper/receiver in a grocery, retail, warehousing or related field is an asset Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Able to stand and walk for long periods Knowledge of using pallette jacket and a cash register Must have own reliable transportation Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
