College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience:

7 months to less than 1 year Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred. Strong selling skills with a proven track record of achieving sales goals. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient cash handling experience is essential. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Familiarity with market trends and consumer behaviour is advantageous.

On Site:

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Direct and control daily operations Evaluate and analyze daily operations for efficiency and improvement Plan and organize daily business activities Manage staff and assign duties accordingly Study market trends and research to assess consumer demand, sales potential, and competitor impact Determine merchandise and services to be offered Implement pricing and credit policies Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale Develop and execute marketing strategies Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses Assess and determine staffing needs Resolve issues such as customer complaints, special requests, and supply shortages Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers Oversee payroll administration Conduct employee performance reviews Supervise office and volunteer staff

Responsible for supervising 5-10 people
