Store Manager
Job Description
Managers are responsible for improving the commercial performance of the store by increasing its turnover and maximizing profitability. They are responsible for the day-to-day management of a store in accordance with company policies. A Manager further provides accurate sales leadership to employees and projects the company's philosophy and image through excellent customer service and strong visual presentation techniques. Managers are responsible for executing advertising campaigns and sales promotions at store level, controlling inventories and recommending and implementing procedures and policies. Managers oversee the design and remodeling of the store, plan store layouts and design displays and decide strategies. Managers are the key link between staff and senior management. They must work in tandem with all levels to ensure a smooth running operation. Managers enforce all company policies and procedures to maximize the profitability of their store while ensuring the well being of staff, customers and suppliers.
