Key Responsibilities
Lead & Inspire
: Motivate and guide your team to consistently hit sales targets while delivering an outstanding dining experience to every customer.
Operations
: Manage all daily store operations, from food prep and inventory to cash handling and POS system management.
Stock Control
: Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are optimized, food is fresh, and waste is minimized.
Food Costing
: Monitor food costs closely, ensuring that all dishes are being prepared efficiently and profitably without compromising on quality.
Labour Management
: Create staff schedules that balance operational needs and labour costs, optimizing staffing levels for peak times.
Day-to-Day Tasks
: Handle day-to-day store management, including opening and closing procedures, health and safety checks, and ensuring the store environment is clean and welcoming.
Team Building
: Recruit, train, and develop an enthusiastic team who are passionate about fresh food and exceptional service.
Customer Engagement
: Be the face of Barburrito by responding to customer inquiries, resolving concerns quickly, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.
Sales Growth
: Analyze sales performance and come up with strategies to increase revenue and improve efficiency.
Quality Control
: Ensure that all food meets Barburrito's high standards of freshness and taste, and that the restaurant maintains a clean and safe environment.
Team Communication
: Hold regular team meetings to keep everyone on track with promotions, new menu items, and operational updates.
Experience & Skills
Leadership Experience
: Proven experience in managing a restaurant or retail environment.
Food Industry Know-How
: Familiarity with fast-casual food service, including food safety, inventory management, and cash handling.
Stock Control & Food Costing
: Experience in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to ensure profitability.
Labour Management
: Ability to create and manage staff schedules that ensure optimal coverage while controlling labour costs.
Sales Savvy
: Strong understanding of how to drive sales, manage budgets, and maintain profitability.
Team Player
: Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both customers and team members.
