Position: Retail Store Manager - Floral Industry



As the

Store Manager

, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our floral retail store. This includes managing staff, inventory, customer service, floral design, and contributing to the overall growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:



Floral Operations:

Prepare floral arrangements and custom orders; create floral displays, bouquets, and wreaths using fresh, dried, or artificial flowers.

Sales & Marketing:

Develop and execute strategies to boost sales and profitability; implement marketing campaigns to promote products and seasonal offerings.

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels, place supply orders, and minimize waste.

Team Leadership:

Hire, train, schedule, and mentor team members; lead by example to maintain a high-performance environment.

Customer Experience:

Ensure exceptional customer service at all times.

Store Presentation:

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop.

Financial Oversight:

Assist in payroll management, control budgets, and monitor store expenses.

Scheduling:

Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas).

Health & Safety:

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Standards under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Requirements:



Minimum

1 year of experience

in a similar retail or floral management role Knowledge of

flowers, plants, and floral design

Proven leadership ability with experience managing a team Excellent

customer service and communication

skills Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills Experience with

inventory control and ordering

Capable of developing and executing

marketing strategies

Proficient with

Microsoft Office

and

Google Workspace

Professional appearance and demeanor

at all times Ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform light cleaning duties as needed
