Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced
Store Manager
to lead all aspects of our boutique's daily operations. The ideal candidate has
5 years of experience managing a baby and toddler store
, a genuine passion for quality children's products, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. This person will play a key role in building a trusted and welcoming retail experience for families and help us bring our mission to life both in-store and online.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all store operations including merchandising, inventory management, staffing, scheduling, and customer experience
Supervise and train staff to deliver knowledgeable, warm, and personalized service
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure synchronization between in-store and online (Shopify) systems
Lead marketing initiatives including social media management and content planning (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)
Ensure a clean, welcoming, and safe environment that reflects our brand values
Collaborate with ownership on buying decisions and product curation
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive growth
Manage Point-of-Sale (POS) system and related reporting
Support community-building events and promotional campaigns
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and customer service excellence
Work closely with the Canadian Education Warehouse team
and
assist in the management and operation of the Teacher-Parent education boutique
, which shares the same retail space
Qualifications
Prefered - 3
years of experience
as a
store manager in a baby/toddler retail setting
Demonstrated passion for baby and toddler products, early learning, and family-focused retail
Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management
Experience with
Shopify
or similar e-commerce platforms
Strong knowledge of
social media marketing and digital engagement
strategies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
Bilingual (French and English)
is a strong asset
Familiarity with
SAGE 50 Quantum ERP
is considered an asset
