Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
Oversee daily store operations including staffing, scheduling, and payroll management.
Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
Manage inventory levels through purchasing and effective stock control practices.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Handle cash management responsibilities including cash handling, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
Utilize negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
Monitor store performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Proficient in POS systems and retail software applications.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in budgeting and administrative tasks.
Experience in recruiting, training & development of staff members.
Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail sales strategies.
Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting practices.
Strong math skills for pricing strategies and inventory management.
