We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong understanding of retail operations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the store, including food handling areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Proficient in cashiering and operating POS systems. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is preferred. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in retail or restaurant settings is a plus but not required.
