Store Front Manager

Job Description

The Store Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the store including; maintaining high store standards and appearance, fostering a positive work environment which provides consistent fast, efficient, and friendly service for both customers and staff. The store manager creates the tone and personality of the store by being an advocate of training, customer service, product knowledge and education, and encouraging safe work practices.

The Store Manager will have extensive retail experience, including previous experience in a leadership role. They must have excellent attention to detail to ensure an attractive store layout. They must have the ability to schedule employees to meet consumer demand and be a reliable leader of the store and its staff.

Key Accountabilities:



Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Report on buying trends and customer needs, ensuring proper quantities of products

Place orders for products to ensure proper rotation and good selection to meet customer wants, including shop supplies and packaging.

Check daily orders to ensure all information is correct and products are on hand.

Recruiting, selecting and training employees and maintaining job results by coaching, counselling and disciplining employees. Planning, monitoring and appraising job results and handling employee issues or complaints.

Provide staff with product knowledge.

Motivate sales clerks to meet or exceed sales goals.

Delegate tasks to employees to ensure a clean and organized store.

Coordinate delivery of items to Bath location and directly to customers including large/catering orders.

Handle customer complaints and feedback and address changes needed.

Create social media posts for both locations and update frequently.

Update sales software/online sales platform with products and pricing.

Be the main contact for Health & Safety issues for the store. Ensure all staff are working safely and using equipment properly. Ensure all staff are wearing proper PPE and clothing while on shift and report any health and safety concerns to your health and safety representative immediately.

Must have a valid G drivers license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
