Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a full-time morning shift associate. This role combines convenience store operations with food service, requiring someone who can excel in both areas while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Operate cash register and process customer transactions accuratelyo Prepare and serve food items at our takeout station (similar to Subway-style service)o Maintain food safety standards and proper food handling procedureso Stock shelves and organize merchandise displayso Assist customers with product selection and inquirieso Handle inventory management and receiving deliverieso Maintain cleanliness of store and food service areaso Process lottery tickets, tobacco sales, and other convenience store services
Required Qualifications

Previous experience in retail AND food service (Subway or similar food establishments preferred)o Strong customer service skills with an outgoing, friendly personalityo Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customerso Physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularlyo Comfortable working in a fast-paced environmento Reliable and punctual with strong work ethico Basic math skills for cash handlingo Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with POS systemso Knowledge of convenience store products and operationso Previous supervisory experience
Physical Requirements

Standing for extended periodso Lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbso Bending, reaching, and stocking shelveso Working with food preparation equipment
