Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and customer-oriented Farm Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in local food, sustainability, and community engagement. This role involves assisting customers, managing inventory, stocking shelves, handling transactions, and ensuring our store remains clean and inviting.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with product selection and inquiries Operate the cash register and process payments accurately Restock shelves and maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout Monitor and rotate perishable items to ensure freshness Assist with receiving deliveries and checking inventory Provide customers with information about our local farmers, products, and sustainability initiatives Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the store

Qualifications:

Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills Passion for local food and sustainable agriculture Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic math skills and experience handling cash or point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous retail or food service experience is a plus
