Chatime Merivale is currently hiring a full-time Store Assistant Manager. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated & passionate person to join our team! Store Location:
  • Chatime Merivale ; 1547 Merivale Road, Nepean
Key Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Food & Beverage experience
  • 1+ years of management experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Enjoys working independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must pass all Chatime station training
Duties include:
  • First point of contact for all matters and emergencies at all times and taking the necessary course of action;
  • Scheduling using the Push software and achieving labour targets;
  • Attending biweekly All Managers meetings;
  • Scheduling and chairing all meetings including monthly team lead meetings and quarterly staff meetings;
  • Inventory management including but not limited to ordering inventory as required;
  • Perform monthly inventory counts including inventory receiving;
  • Ensure that the store and all staff are compliant with Chatime\xe2\x80\x99s current policies, procedures, promotions, campaigns, training content, etc.;
  • Maintain a healthy roster of exceptional staff by conducting frequent recruiting;
  • Enforce daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules of all spaces and equipment as per Chatime\xe2\x80\x99s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness Standard;
  • Order local ingredients, supplies, etc., for the store as required;
  • Solve complex customer service issues;
  • Provide staff evaluation and recommendation for promotion readiness;
  • Ensure end of day reports and duties are performed correctly and funds are balanced daily;
  • Report all conflicts and any situation that may require disciplinary action; and,
  • Other job duties as described on the Chatime Management Expectations Checklist or as required.
Operating Hours & Availability:
  • The ideal candidates should be available a minimum of 40 hours per week and including the ability to work opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Opening shifts can be starting as early as 9:30am. Closing shifts can end as late as 12am.
