High Sierra Holdings Ltd. is hiring Stonemasons to perform jobs across Calgary and Banff, Alberta.

Wage: $40.00 per hour

Permanent, full-time position, 40 - 44 hours per week

Shifts: early morning, morning, days and weekends

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Language: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Tasks:

Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing Construct and install prefabricated masonry units Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures
Work site environment: work at heights, dusty and outdoors. Able to lift up 23 Kg (50lbs)

Work setting: residential and commercial sites, renovations, repairs, construction sites

Tools/equipment: must have hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, steel toed boots, safety gloves, and own transportation

Working conditions: physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods of time, bending, crouching and kneeling
