About the Role



Fossil is currently looking for experienced stone masons to join our team. Masons play a crucial role on many of our projects and are often involved in the most detailed and technical aspects of the work -- from intricate stone veneer to large-format custom stone installations and architectural water features.



The ideal candidate has proven experience in high-end residential stonework, enjoys hands-on physical work, and takes pride in mentoring others who are learning the trade. At Fossil, we value humility, teamwork, and craftsmanship -- and we're looking for someone who shares those values.



Responsibilities


Install masonry and hardscape elements, primarily large-format natural stone products Perform vertical and horizontal masonry applications Operate mobile equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators Use laser levels, spirit levels, and stringlines to ensure precision and accuracy Work accurately and safely with grinders, tile saws, cutoff saws, and coring drills Mix and prepare mortar, grout, and thinset for stone installation Safely and precisely use chisels and bolsters to shape and dress stones Interpret and work from architectural plans and construction drawings




What You Bring


Experience in stone masonry, ideally in high-end residential construction Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to superior workmanship Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines Willingness to mentor and support less experienced team members Comfort working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions




Compensation & Benefits
