About your team
Fidelity Stock Plan Services team is part of the wider Fidelity Workplace Investing function providing recordkeeping and administration services to clients to help them manage their employee equity compensation plans as well as providing their employees with easy access to view and manage their shares.
Fidelity has been providing stock plan services to corporations since 2000 and is an area that remains a key strategic focus for the business and we continue to invest for the future. Currently, with around 600 clients and 2.4m participants globally, the Stock Plan Services business is a dynamic one with a number of functional teams across operations, marketing, communications, service delivery, finance, and client management.

The Stock Plan Services Sales team is responsible for growing clients, members, and assets in markets outside of the United States. The Solution Consultant will partner with Account Executives, Managing Directors, and Product & Service Consultants to win new Global Stock Plan Services clients. You will be responsible for performing a comprehensive analysis of a client\xe2\x80\x99s equity compensation requirement requirements for plan participants and plan sponsors. This includes reviewing company filings; annual reports, SEC Filings (20-F, 10K, S-8), and plan documents for single or multi-product requests and successfully demonstrating Fidelity\xe2\x80\x99s solutions during the sales or re-bid processes. The role will consult to position our product offering to meet the client\xe2\x80\x99s needs.

About your role
This role relies heavily upon your knowledge of SPS products, technology, services, and processes. The ideal candidate can think strategically, advise clients, and collaborate with internal business partners.
Success in this position will be dependent upon excellent knowledge of the equity compensation and benefits industry, SPS standard product offerings, and key competitors\xe2\x80\x99 product offerings. We are looking for someone with a consistent record of success in selling product solutions to prospects and clients.
Approximately 10% travel requirement.

Key Responsibilities


  • Help grow the Stock Plan Services business as we expand our capabilities and market reach

  • Perform strategic analyses on behalf of clients and prospects to identify fit and potential service model issues which may require exception management.

  • Develop solutions consistent with our current and planned capabilities, including understanding the financial impact of such solutions and with respect to our standard business model.

  • Performing detailed plan document review for potential new business relationships and detailing standard & non-standard product/ service requirements.

  • Owning internal exception approval process steps to find proven solutions.

  • Providing subject matter expertise on equity compensation issues during the sales/ rebid process.

  • Owning the integrity of final RFP responses and ensuring that our team of Account Executives understand the solution being offered.

  • Consulting with prospective clients and representing the Fidelity value proposition as part of the broader solution offering.

  • Representing the voice of the customer/market to influence product roadmap


About you

  • Equity compensation knowledge and expertise

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent

  • Certified ICSA (ESP) Professional (or willing to acquire)

  • In-depth related product/ proven experience

  • Leadership skills \xe2\x80\x93 coaching, mentoring, displaying leadership characteristics in all situations

  • Expert presentation skills at all levels (e.g., administrative, peers, executives), verbal and non-verbal, internal and external.

  • Client-facing consultation and outstanding listening skills to understand needs.

  • Proven experience in getting results while preserving relationships.

  • Experience building an established internal network and navigating organisations.
