Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical and dental instruments are properly sterilized and maintained in accordance with industry standards. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization of medical and dental instruments using appropriate methods and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations during the sterilization process.
• Perform laundry duties.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality before and after sterilization.
• Collaborate with dental assistants, receptionists, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in inventory management of sterilization supplies and report any shortages.
• Stay updated on best practices in sterilization techniques and medical terminology.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar role is required.
• Medical Device Reprocessing Technician certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and dental terminology, particularly related to pediatrics, is advantageous.
• Experience in dental assisting or as a dental receptionist can enhance your application.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols meticulously.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
