We are a 4 day work week and Monday to Friday practice that will open a few saturdays a year. You will be given advance notice of these days.
Shift hours are 6:30- 4:30pm.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to industry standards. You will play a crucial role in supporting the overall safety and efficiency of our dental practice, contributing to a positive experience for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform sterilization procedures on dental instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and protocols. Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in the preparation of treatment areas by ensuring all necessary instruments are sterile and ready for use. Monitor inventory levels of sterilization supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a smooth workflow and assist with any additional tasks as needed. Uphold cleanliness standards in all areas of the practice, including workstations and storage areas.

Requirements

Experience with dental terminology, including familiarity with Dentrix, sterilization protocols and IPC standards preferred. Knowledge of proper sterilization techniques and infection control protocols is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.
