is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Sterilization Technician / Clinical Support Team Member

to join our clinical team. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of infection control, safety, and efficiency within our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Steri-Tech / Infection Control Duties

Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials Clean, disinfect, set up, and shut down dental treatment rooms Safely transport contaminated instruments from treatment rooms to the sterilization area Disinfect, clean, package, label, and sterilize reusable dental instruments and devices Operate and maintain sterilization equipment including instrument washers, sonic sinks, cart washers, and steam autoclaves Perform and document sterilization assurance monitoring, including mechanical, chemical, biological, and air removal testing Reassemble dental equipment and prepare sterile supply and instrument packs for use in treatment rooms

Clinical & Operational Support

Prepare treatment rooms and assist dental assistants and hygienists with setup for procedures Track dental supply inventory and stock clinical areas as needed Perform general cleaning and maintenance of dental equipment Assist clinical staff by retrieving supplies and instruments during busy periods
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dental or medical sterilization environment is an asset Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization processes preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
