We are looking for a
STEM Coach; an energetic individual with an engaging personality
who believes in our philosophy of learning and innovating in a fun environment. Our coaches are the lifeblood of our operation. You will join our team of coaches to teach STEM based on our proven curriculum.
Do you have experience working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? This could be the role for you.
Requirements
Excellent oral communication.
Up beat, positive, energetic and works independently.
Experience working with children age 6 to 15.
Volunteering or a year of teaching experience will be an asset
Skilled at building mechanical contraptions creatively.
Experience in programming languages a plus.
Knowledge in building and programming LEGO robots a plus.
Participation in robotic or coding competitions (FLL, WRO, etc.) a plus.
Good listener and strong influencer.
Ability to inspire and lead others.
Pre-employment background check is required.

. Able to come to the business location in Richmond independently and on time
Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese is a bonus
Responsibilities include:
Teach robotics or coding based on our proven curriculum.
Create a positive and safe environment where innovation is encouraged.
Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
Timing:
Our evening programs run typically from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on weekdays and Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Our camps run from 8:30am to 5:00pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
