We are currently accepting resumes for a Steamfitter located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This is a temporary position for a shutdown at the Dow Fort Saskatchewan site. Camp and LOA not are provided.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Tartan\xe2\x80\x99s safety management system, policies, procedures and values;
• Maintain and repair Utility Steam and Glycol piping and tubing systems.
• Hydro test and install fabricated pipe spools and tubing assemblies within structural steel modular assemblies and existing plant infrastructure.
• Maintains all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion;
• Is trained and competent on the use of all equipment required to carry out this trade;
• Read and interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Inter-provincial (Red Seal) Journeyman Pipefitter Ticket or an active Apprentice Pipefitter Ticket
• 2-3 years of glycol tracing or tube bending experience
• Valid CSTS;
• Able to work alone or in small groups;
• Experience in heavy oil operating environment;
• Shutdown experience would be a definite asset;
• Clearance of a pre-screen D & A test.
