Salary range $45.09-$47.71/hr (depending on license held)

Schedule 8 hour rotating shift (2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on afternoons, 2 weeks on nights)

Develop your talents

by applying your expertise within our facility in Richmond, as the Steam Engineer (Power Engineer) :

Operate and maintain steam boiler, and other utility equipment in accordance with BC Safety Authority regulations. Prepare and monitor starch batches used in the manufacturing process, ensuring proper consistency, quality, and supply for production needs. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues within the steam plant. Monitor and record system readings, maintain logbooks, and report any abnormalities. Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Support other maintenance tasks and participate in plant shutdowns and startups. Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

A valid 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate, BC is required for this position.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and drawings. Able to read and understand specifications and drawings and computer literacy. Thorough understanding of Safety program procedures Able to work with minimum supervision
