Job Summary

Responsible for assisting with the coordinating, planning and executing activities required to support the tracking and implementation of projects initiated by the Department - in collaboration with Project Leaders/Project Managers. Responsible for assisting with executing activities related to documentation management and for maintaining the document management systems as required for successful implementation of the Projects.

Collaborate with team members and all functional areas across the business to achieve successful project execution. Provide status updates to the Project Leader/Project Manager as required and notify of any potential project delays/risks as they arise.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting to plan, coordinate and follow-up to ensure the timely completion of all project activities as per the Project Plans. Utilize SAP, EPM, Track Wise, or the appropriate PM systems to plan and execute activities with the Project Leader/Project Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross functional meetings and communications with team members in support of achieving commercial readiness, obstacle resolution and general continuous improvement activities.
  • Initiate, track and follow up the progress of change control requests to meet committed business timelines. Ensure that Change Control Requests are completed and closed-out within due date or request for due date extension if required.
  • Responsible for initiating change control packages in the change management system with detailed change(s) descriptions and the corresponding rationale(s), with assistance as needed from Project Leader/Project Manager.
  • In conjunction with the Project Leader/Manager in MTS Program, collaborate with Manufacturing Technical Services Scientific Leaders and Quality to perform a thorough and complete impact analysis for the change control package.
  • Assist the Project Leader/Project Manager to ensure all scheduled tasks are on target to achieve commercial readiness.
  • Collect and provide Regulatory Affairs with the necessary information as requested for the Regulatory submission package.
  • Assist with the scanning and filing of production and technical documents in an organized and systemic approach, according to the Apotex procedures in the OmniRim database, and coordinating the off-site shipment of original documents as necessary. Responsible for keeping an active log of all scanning activities.

Job Requirements
  • Education
  • Currently pursuing University Degree or College Diploma in Chemistry, Pharmacy,
Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemical Engineering or related science.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment as a team player.
  • Demonstrate an interest in learning Project Management principles and practice.
  • Experience
  • Demonstrated interest/experience supporting and/or leading projects.
