Responsible for contributing to the store's success by ensuring service experience standards are met and surpassed at all times. Assist the Store Manager with daily operating procedures such as maintaining quality store operations, maximizing financial contribution and assisting with Associate development and training for new hires.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Customer Satisfaction
Responds quickly and proactively to customer concerns.
Interacts with customers to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
Sets a positive example for customer relations.
Maintain quality store operations:
Assist Store Manager in developing new hires.
Facilitate opening and/or closing of Store.
Coach new hires through their learning.
Must be able to work as a Barista and lead by example.
Ensure all company policies, store-operating standards, and procedures are communicated effectively and maintained and followed consistently.
Organize work throughout the store in a manner that facilitates efficient customer service and profitable operation.
Follow health & safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Perform and ensure others complete the cleaning and operational tasks following the store Duty Rosters.
Follow and direct others to follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
Follow all Marriott policies and procedures as outlined in the hotel manual.
Place orders according to par levels and level of business.
Attends and participates in all pertinent meetings (e.g., Daily Stand Up, Department and Intradepartmental).
Financial Contribution:
Contribute to store goals for increasing sales and improving profit.
Assist Store Manager with inventories.
Record and be accountable for store funds while running a shift.
Ensure all cash handling and cash register functions are performed accurately and consistently.
Ensure the proper types and amounts of materials, supplies, and merchandise are ordered and stocked.
Effectively communicate new product information to all employees.
Other:
Active Member and Representative of the Health & Safety Committee.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience
Certificate in Hotel Restaurant Management an asset.
Shift lead or progressive experience in Starbucks or a similar environment.
Must complete the Starbucks Training Program.
Become a certified Starbucks Trainer
Must complete required Marriott Training.
Minimum of one year experience as a Barista.
Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Excel, Word, and Micros.
Complexity and Analysis
