Will assist in the training of individuals studying or working in the health care profession. They will be coached and trained to accurately and consistently recreate the history of an actual patient in a specific scenario. If necessary, will be coached and trained on providing directed feedback pertinent to the scenario and exercise at hand. Standardized Patients are expected to respect rules and regulations of the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Education/Experience

Standardized Patients must be open individuals who have an interest in the educational aspects of the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning.

Other Qualifying Skills & Abilities

Background in health care. Good communication skills. Bilingualism and experience in dramatic arts are assets. The ability to speak openly and constructively. Individuals who can follow instruction and are able to prepare material autonomously. The ability to work with sensitive matters in a professional and mature fashion. Flexible work schedules.

Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience

Hourly Salary: (AMUSE B) $21.59

Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 2 (Part time)
