Description:

We are looking for a Staff Writer/Content Creator to join our team who will be responsible for drafting high-quality content consistently and efficiently to support client reputational goals. You must be able to use your time effectively to research article topics and write them in an engaging, knowledgeable and journalistic manner. This is a fully remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and edit content such as: website/landing page copy, blogs, service pages, brand narratives, social content, Articles, and thought leadership pieces. Translate brand positioning and strategy into engaging copy tailored to different audiences and industries. Follow briefs, brand guidelines, and SEO best practices (keywords, headings, internal linking, search intent) while keeping content natural and on-brand. Conduct research and incorporate sources when appropriate to support credibility. Revise content based on feedback while maintaining quality, tone, and consistency. Manage deadlines across multiple projects and keep work organized in shared systems. Conduct responsible research and fact-check claims; maintain high standards for accuracy and reputation risk awareness.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related subject (English, Literature, Psychology, etc.). Professional writing experience (marketing, branding, agency, in-house, or publications). Understand and apply SEO best practices to articles and content. Reliable time management and ability to work independently in a remote environment. Familiarity with Google Workspace or able to adapt easily. Must have the skills and ability to write for and about high-profile finance and investment clients (wealth management, investment firms, executives). Working knowledge of content marketing fundamentals. Knowledge of Wikipedia policies and guidelines.
Our clients come in all shapes, sizes, and market caps, and no single solution works for all of them. Your ability to research article topics effectively and distill information into clear, engaging content will be a key to your success in this position.

Preferred

An experienced writer who has worked for or made contributions to local media outlets, trade publications, university newspapers or ideally major Canadian or American media sources, such as The Star, National Post, Globe and Mail, The Huffington Post, Bloomberg or The New York Times. A writer who has PR experience.
Compensation:

$20/hr to start 10 vacation days per year
