We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated pharmacist to participate in daily dispensary operations, working in a team environment and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate would have a passion and interest to develop and implement patient focused programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Must be dedicated and focused on patient needs in order to deliver quality service Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions Provide professional advice to patients on prescription and OTC products Fully utilize scope of practice including prescription adaptation, renewing or extending a prescription, therapeutic substitution, minor ailment prescribing, medication reviews, etc. Administer injections/immunizations as requested in order to maximize patient care Provide complete and accurate documentation as required by the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists and insurance providers (private & public) Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations Create awareness and educate patients through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy License to practice in the province of Nova Scotia Immunization and injection permit Experience providing expanded scope of pharmacy services Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to providing exceptional customer service Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work productively as a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team
