Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic a ccounting firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, and supporting corporate finance activities. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities

Perform bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers. Conduct account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy of financial statements. Analyze accounts for discrepancies and provide solutions for resolution. Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Caseware. Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Proven experience in accounting firm is an asset. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Caseware) is required. Strong skills in account analysis, payroll processing, and account reconciliation. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Effective communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders. Pay: $42,547.01-$48,000.00 per year
