Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate accounting entries, financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.

Responsibilities



Accounts Payable Management:

Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Corporate Card & Expense Reporting:

Manage the company's corporate credit cards and employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Journal Entries:

Prepare monthly and year-end journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and capital asset entries.

Financial Documentation:

Assist with the preparation of supporting documentation for financial audits and reporting.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to ensure that expenses are appropriately captured and classified, and provide support as needed for financial inquiries.

Reconciliation:

Assist in the reconciliation of accounts related to payables, expenses, and capital assets to ensure accuracy.

Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports related to accounts payable, expenses, and accruals.

Process Improvement:

Suggest and implement improvements to processes that enhance efficiency and accuracy in managing accounts payable and expense reporting.

Inventory Ordering :

Order inventory through the AGR system to maintain stock levels and ensure timely replenishment

Requirements



Diploma/Bachelor/ Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks. Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, account reconciliation, and payroll processing is essential. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
