About Us:
CAN Partners LLP is a CPA firm located in Markham, Ontario. We provide audit, review, compilation, tax, and business advisory services to a range of private and publicly listed companies.
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This position also qualifies for CPA Ontario Pre-Approved Program Route at request.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead or assist in audit, review, and compilation engagements
Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
Assist partners with tax and business consultation clients, including attending meetings, direct dealing with clients to answer questions, and preparing plans and/or proposals
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and IFRS
Pursuing or achieving CPA designation
Knowledge in Caseware, Quickbook an asset.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel) and Taxprep, an asset.
Able to manage a high volume of work flow with a high level of accuracy
Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Mandarin and/or Cantonese an asset.
