The Role:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the smooth, efficient functioning of our corporate and/or project finance on a day-to-day basis. This role is part of a team that reports to the Finance Manager and will be involved in all financial aspects of our business including accounts receivable, accounts payable, project accounting, corporate accounting, banking, and payroll.

The Skills:

Reliability and discretion. Time management skills with ability to schedule/delegate. Excellent initiative, ability to tackle unknown difficulties and change direction quickly. Process oriented with a focus on process improvement. Attention to detail and quality focused. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a positive team environment. Budgeting skills and financial statement analysis. Familiarity with accounting software. MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe, Photo-shop).
The Qualifications:

Bachelor of Business Administration, Commerce Degree or Diploma Minimum five years' experience in an accounting role, including familiarity with building processes; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA designation would be considered an asset.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
