White Raven Accounting

is a growing accounting firm seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our team. We specialize in providing personalized accounting services to owners and professionals of private corporations.

Responsibilities:

Prepare personal and corporate tax returns, including GST filings, T4/T5 slips, etc. Prepare compilation engagements, including working papers, adjusting journal entries, and supporting documentation. Assist with bookkeeping tasks, such as banking transaction review & categorizing, monthly reconciliations, government remittances, payroll, and other items based on client needs such as internal financial reporting and cash flow management Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

University degree or college diploma in accounting CPA designation, or registered in CPA PEP Program preferred Minimum of 2 years of public practice experience Proficiency in QuickBooks online & desktop, Caseware, Profile Tax, Excel, and Word Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and desire to help clients
