We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the company's financial operations. Responsibilities



Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation and account analysis to verify data integrity Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing activities to support compliance and strategic planning Process payroll and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and company policies Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with detailed account analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve bookkeeping processes and streamline financial workflows Maintain organized documentation of all financial transactions for audit readiness

Requirements



Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis Familiarity with corporate finance principles, auditing procedures, and financial services industry standards Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting tasks Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex financial data accurately Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required Prior experience working with accounting software packages such as Sage or Xero is highly desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36,857.65-$73,066.37 per year
