We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant with experience in Canadian CPA firm with more than 3 Years to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the company's financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in accounting software and financial analysis to contribute to a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

Perform the pay cheques for various clients ( 10 clients) Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation and account analysis, to maintain accurate financial data Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to do the bookkeeping. Prepare the individual and corporate tax returns Support payroll processing and related activities to ensure timely employee payments Prepare financial statements and reports for management review

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation procedures Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, auditing, and account analysis Ability to perform detailed account analysis and support budgeting activities Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately Effective communication skills to communicate with clients. B.com degree is a must. The candidates who have graduated in Advanced Professional Practice Accounting Program from Humber College or Sheridan College will be an asset.
