Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stable Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with horses and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment for both the animals and staff. This position involves various tasks related to the care of horses and the upkeep of the stable facilities. Friday to Sunday 6 hours per day. Extra hours may be avaialbe periodically.

Responsibilities

Feed and water horses according to established schedules and dietary requirements. Clean stalls, paddocks, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain equipment and supplies in good condition, ensuring they are organized and accessible. General maintenance and yard work around the stable as needed. Other duties as required.

Requirements

Previous experience working with horses is mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential. Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Attention to detail in carrying out daily tasks effectively and efficiently. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and management. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Mechanical and carpentry knowledge is an asset
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
