We're looking for a Sr. Systems Analyst / Developer who will assist in the definition and documentation of software business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with end users (BPOs and SMEs). This individual will propose and design technical solutions based on documentation of software business requirements, objectives and deliverables on a project by project basis. In addition, this person will perform computer program development, testing, debugging, code promotion and system architecture changes using SDLC models.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Business Analysts (BAs) to plan and design change solutions for the ERP system that align with evolving business requirements and process improvements. Assist project teams by offering insights into available te chnologies, that can fulfill solution requirements. Communicate technical issues and complexities effectively to project stakeholders. Conduct technical analysis of ERP system change requests and assess business requirements for system design specifications. Identify opportunities for process reengineering rather than depending solely on source code customization. Provide guidance on the effective implementation of requirements into code. Design and develop ERP solutions utilizing coding, database management, integration, and other necessary development tools. Execute unit testing and identify areas requiring additional testing to ensure solution verification. Collaborate with project team members, Business Process Owners, and Business Analysts throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Facilitate the implementation of code changes through established Unit, Integrated, and User Acceptance Testing processes. Maintain the SharePoint Issue Log by updating it with technical documentation that clarifies decisions, approaches, coding, and challenges for future enhancements. Support the daily operations of Dynamics 365 and third-party applications.

REQUIREMENTS:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations/AX (both on-premise and cloud-based environments). Preferred certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 MB-300/MB-500 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate and/or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in Development, Extensions, and Deployment for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Demonstrated experience in ERP system analysis and development, with a specific focus on D365FO. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in D365FO development using Visual Studio and X++. Adept in core Dynamics AX development tools, including X++, SSRS, AOT Tools, and Data Management. Experience with D365FO integration with external systems, including custom web service development, recurring integrations, and OData consumption. Capable of promoting code changes through established testing processes utilizing Visual Studio and Azure DevOps. Experienced in SSRS report development within D365 using Visual Studio. Working knowledge of SQL Server databases and Internet Information Services (IIS) within development environments. Proficient in debugging complex D365 issues using the Visual Studio debugger. Technical functional knowledge of AX D365FO ERP modules, encompassing Finance, Accounts Payable, Production, Accounts Receivable, Warehousing, Logistics, and Sales. Skilled in developing SQL queries and extracting data from databases, with an understanding of complex database schemas and objects. Familiarity with EDI data interchange formats and Moneris Credit Card payment processing. Strong analytical capabilities, intellectual curiosity, and excellent communication skills. Ability to collaborate with vendors (including Microsoft and ISVs) to resolve issues or define system designs. Capability to serve as a leader, providing support for various D365 modules throughout the implementation lifecycle. Experience managing the development lifecycle of custom DCM and ISV code utilizing Visual Studio and Azure DevOps source control. Proficient in maintaining, updating, and customizing a data warehouse database, using data warehouse automation software. Experienced in direct collaboration with EDI trading partners and ISVs to troubleshoot EDI specifications and coordinate end-to-end integration testing. Ability to work collaboratively with Microsoft engineers to address and resolve out-of-the-box issues.
