Overview

Waters | Vicam is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Senior Territory Manager in Canada. Responsibilities include driving sales of our full range of Mycotoxin products to the Agricultural Industries (Grain Elevators, Feed Mills, Pet Food Companies, Ethanol Industry, processing plants, Analytical Laboratories, High-Tech Analytical facilities and Grain & Food manufactures. The desired candidate should be a self starter in developing and implementing a Territorial Business Plan working in unison with their Sales manager and marketing colleagues in delivering an aggressive call cycle and business development activities. The foundation of the Account Manager\xe2\x80\x99s role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and challenges, designing solutions with lasting and meaningful business impact to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Maintain installed base customer satisfaction
  • Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
  • Visit customers and prospects on a daily basis to highlight Vicam solutions and help customers with their challenges
  • Build technical competency on Vicam solution and to be perceived by customers as a credible resource
  • Keep current on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and competitive information
  • Provide information to marketing team to create business development programs
  • Fully utilize of our Sales contact management tools and applications
  • Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
  • Develop business through monthly plans of action
  • Organize and deliver workshops with customers, provide training and set up of Vicam testing equipment.
  • Follow up after workshops and Conferences vis phone or on site visits.
  • Represent Waters|Vicam at relevent trade shows.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Associates degree in Agribusiness, Chemistry or Biology or relevent field of study.
  • Minimum 3 years Sales experience, perferably selling consumables products and scientific instrumentation into Food 7 Feed agricultural industries.
  • Action orientated and self-driven for results
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good organization/planning/time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener
  • Mature disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitment
  • Adaptive to dynamic and changing environment
  • Strong technical background in analytical technologies
  • Strong experience with account management across large sales territory with proven time and territory management skills
  • Prior experience working in agriculture, agribusiness, agronomy or within a grain facility preferred
  • Technical background and proven ability to learn new technologies
  • Valid Drivers license with a clean record
