The Opportunity:

Forging our community across our MEGA brand! You will act as the voice of our brand across our community providing key information leading up to flagship launches as well as providing community listening updates to the brand team based on your interactions with our community. In addition, you will be responsible for our social channel management operations. This position will partner with the Sr Manager, to build and deliver on strategic vision of this department and maximizing efficiencies around Mattel\xe2\x80\x99s publishing efforts. The ideal candidate will have both an analytical and creative mindset; Someone who can juggle multiple responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail. You will work closely with different cross-functional teams internal and external on goals and areas of focus. Finally, you will represent your team\xe2\x80\x99s efforts in cross-functional meetings: Building and delivering data-backed presentations that highlight your team\xe2\x80\x99s achievements, barriers, and next steps for delivering excellence in your areas of responsibility. What Your Impact Will Be:


  • Engage and chat directly with our community through our different social platforms.
  • Work alongside our social and marketing teams to promote product launches.
  • Report back on community sentiment and engagement.
  • Build out our social channels and increase engagement.
  • Be a spokesperson for our brand.
Publishing Operations
  • Perform general channel management, including publishing assets, videos and creating metadata aligned with channel strategy and platform best practices.
  • Content calendar planning.
  • Brief creatives teams for content.
  • Regularly update channel and content curations.
  • In partnership with the Creative team, execute against an asset delivery workflow.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to execute against a portfolio of content calendars.
  • Connect and partner with our cross-functional teams for cross channel posts.
  • Other channel management responsibilities as the business continues to evolve.
Performance Analysis/Reporting
  • Document and interrogate performance data of uploads in real-time against benchmarks.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager in providing regular channel and content performance updates to cross functional teams.
  • Execute and report on test & learn initiatives developed in collaboration with the strategy team.
Live Optimizations
  • Apply adjustments to content based on results of real-time performance data.


Qualifications
What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For:
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in content publishing (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube)
  • An articulate individual with a good command of written and spoken English and French.
  • Moderate technical knowledge, being comfortable exporting large quantities of post data and filtering down into community sentiment.
  • Strong communication skills to be able to plan and approve community posts with legal and marketing teams.
  • Experience in the consumer internet/media industries, and content publishing landscape.
  • Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics (including CID) experience required.
  • Strong time management, planning, and project execution skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and extract insights to create recommendations.
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
