What You’ll Be Doing
As the Senior Portfolio Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Contact Centre LOB (Line of Business) Maintain Operations (MOPs) & Transformation / Strategic programs budget, including assisting with planning, business case development, project scheduling, benefits tracking and preparation of material to review project portfolio progress with the executive committees. You will be responsible for financial governance, including monitoring portfolio spend and provide forecasts in adherence with Strategic Project Management Office (SPM) governance processes and procedures.


  • You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Financial Strategy & Planning – Lead the Maintain Operations (MOPs) and Transformation / Strategic programs budget fiscal planning process, working with internal partners, Finance and EPMO (Enterprise Program Management Office). Actively participate in discussions on the categorization of capital vs. expense for all program initiatives. Ensure that portfolio issues, risks and opportunities are proactively identified, with appropriate adjustments made to the plan.

  • Business Cases - Build business cases, including identification of benefits. Complete Triage gates that are required for each PFR (Project Funding Request). Conduct return on investment analysis, NPV, IRR and Payback and facilitate the business case signoff, working with SPM and Finance teams.

  • Budgets - Track capital and expense spend on all Contact Centre Projects. Provide monthly pipeline forecasts. Lead governance of the premises budget across the Centres. Manage the MOPS portfolio to ensure year end results are +/- 5% to plan; develop mitigation tactics as required.

  • Reporting - Enter planned fiscal plans into reporting systems PRF/PMLE and monitor progress against plan. Build and report on project financials. Prepare monthly portfolio status reports, both spend to date and forward looking, to ensure effective monitoring and tracking.

  • Communication & Relationship Management - Meet monthly with Senior Executives, the Business PM, Technology PMs and other key stakeholders to update the status, project schedules, milestones and financials on each project. Support ongoing communication between PMs, business owners and executives regarding portfolio impacts
