YOUR ROLE IN THE COMPANY:

As our Sr. Graphic Designer, you will be at the heart of our design, product development and marketing activities. You will play a vital role in conceptualization, design and supporting the product management and sales teams in the roll out of a wide variety of products. This role is ideal for individuals who are creative, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about designing products that meet customers' needs. Your proactive approach and creativity will be key to our success.

This role places strong emphasis on developing product and packaging concepts/ideations, as well as supporting press-related responsibilities.

AS WELL AS:

Contribute to the product ideation process, conceptualize and design packaging and print collateral for new and existing product launches.

Design line extensions that adhere to brand guidelines and ongoing trends. Conduct research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive products.

Create multiple/different versions of a similar product and send them through approvals.

Create press-ready artwork.

Develop packaging concepts for seasonal programs from supplier dyeline to final production artwork.

Create seasonal marketing presentations and mood boards. Design annual and semi-annual catalogues.

Communicate design updates and features to internal teams and external customers.

Assist in the preparation of international trade show material, signage and sell sheets.

Work with internal technology software and hardware. Retouch photos, correct colours, use close cropping in Photoshop to create product renderings.

Provide graphic support to sales and marketing teams as needed.

Review finalized materials to be sure there are no errors.

Perform additional tasks as needed, related to the role.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

5-7+ years of prior experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the beauty, bath, health or retail industry.

A post-secondary diploma or certificate in graphic design and/or packaging design.

Familiarity with graphic design tools and methodologies.

Proficient computer skills, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Primarily: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), Microsoft Office, majorly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Quick to learn and adapt. Able to pivot work priorities to meet the dynamic demands of the business.

Passionate about beauty - prior experience or a genuine interest in the beauty industry is a plus.
