Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering

Ross Video is looking for an exceptional technical leader in electronics manufacturing to guide our Manufacturing Engineering team. This role manages a cross-functional group of engineers and technicians responsible for industrial engineering, process development, and production readiness across a diverse mix of hardware products--including complex electronics and precision mechanical assemblies.

As Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, you will bring technical depth, structured execution, and a continuous improvement mindset to a team that supports both day-to-day operations and longer-term capability development. You will play a central role in ensuring our manufacturing processes remain robust, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

What the job is all about:



Key Responsibilities

Management & Team Development

Steer a multidisciplinary group across industrial and process engineering functions. Define expectations and develop team capabilities through support, feedback, and mentoring. Build a steady and structured approach to execution while supporting a culture of curiosity and shared responsibility.

Project Execution & NPI

Guide project activities related to process development, tooling, layout, documentation, and NPI readiness. Ensure successful prototype builds and production ramps through disciplined planning and support. Collaborate with Product Engineering and R&D to influence design for manufacturability (DFX).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Ensure alignment between engineering activity and operational priorities. Support issue resolution with a structured, system-focused approach.

Process & Capability Leadership

Champion best practices in electronics assembly including SMT, PCBA, and system-level integration. Support mechanical assembly development for products such as our Camera Motion Systems. Identify and lead improvements that enhance throughput, quality, and cost efficiency.

Other Requirements

Occasional travel to other sites. Valid driver's license and passport.

Who you are:



Education & Experience

Bachelors in electrical/electronic, industrial, mechanical engineering, or related field. 10+ years in electronics manufacturing; 5+ years in technical leadership. Established success in the electronics industry

Technical Skills

Proven expertise in electronics assembly processes, DFX, process validation, and layout planning. Familiarity with mechanical builds, tooling, and integration workflows. Strong working knowledge of capacity modeling, time studies, and cost improvement strategies. Comfortable leading structured execution across varied and evolving product lines.

Leadership & Communication

Able to coach and lead cross-functional technical teams with clarity and purpose. Effective communicator across engineering, production, and business teams. Focused on execution, continuous improvement, and delivering measurable results.

Bonus points if you have the following:



Demonstrated success in scaling NPI to full production with minimal disruption. Experience working in a matrixed department and global organization. Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) for performance tracking and decision-making. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
