Job Description

• Lead and define the solution architecture for each project.
• Work closely with business analysts to understand and where required refine the business requirements.
• Contribute to defining the NFRs in each project.
• Ensure that provided solution aligns with published technology target state and business capability roadmaps.
• Ensure that provided solution meets all the relevant security requirements and standards outlined by the security team.
• Incorporate defined architecture patterns and standards in the solution.
• Present the high-level solution to IT and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with and provide guidance to portfolio/project managers to enable them to estimate cost/efforts at different project stages.
• Guide various internal and external delivery team members to ensure each engaged team understands the overall solution, and the impact of the proposed solution on their area, so they can properly estimate the efforts of their respective teams.
• Assist the BSAs in completing architecture-related items in the CyberSTARR form.
• Build a close relationship between Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Architecture teams. Ensure the assigned SMEs from these teams have complete visibility of the end-to-end solution and implementing technologies. Ensure the solution is compliant with Enterprise and Cloud Architecture standards, and patterns. Where there is a deviation, explain the rational to the project's EA and obtain EA's approval in writing. Obtain EA sign-off on the HLD.
• Assist the cloud architects and engineers with understanding the application solution so they can provide an optimized infra solution and cost estimate.
